Deal Check
Let a car salesmanread your deal first.
I sell cars for a living. Send me your paperwork before you sign and I will tell you exactly what is wrong with it, what is negotiable, and the words to say to fix it. If you want, I will stay on your phone the whole time you are sitting in that dealership.
Here is what happens in a finance office
You have been there four hours. You are tired, the kids are tired, and someone slides a stack of paper across a desk and starts pointing at where to initial. Nobody explains the eight hundred dollar processing fee, or the paint protection you never asked for, or why your contract went to a bank instead of the manufacturer.
That last one is the expensive one, and almost nobody catches it. A dealership shops your contract to whoever pays the store the most. If you wanted a cost-plus sale through the manufacturer and you did not say so out loud, you can walk out with a money loan from a bank instead, on the exact same car, at the exact same payment.
I have sat on the other side of that desk for years. I know every line on that form and I know which ones move.
Two ways to do this
Both start the same way, with me reading your paperwork. The difference is whether I am still with you when you walk in.
Deal Check
I read your deal and write back. You take it from there.
Founding price, first 5 customers
- Every charge on your buyer's order explained in plain English, in writing, within 24 hours
- Which ones are negotiable and roughly what they should be
- Which ones to have removed outright
- Word-for-word scripts for getting each one changed
- Whether your financing is a cost-plus sale or a money loan, and how to fix it if it is the wrong one
- A 15-minute call if you would rather talk it through
Deal Check Live
Everything above, and I am on your phone the entire time you are at the dealership.
Founding price, first 5 customers
- Everything in Deal Check
- I am on text or on the phone with you from the first number they write down through the finance office
- You send me a photo of any sheet they slide across the desk, I tell you within a minute what it is and what to say
- I tell you when the number is genuinely good and you should sign, not just when to push
- I make sure the financing gets placed the way you wanted it, before the contract is printed, not after
- Priority replies, evenings and weekends, which is when cars actually get sold
Signing sooner than 24 hours? Text me and I will move.
What I need from you
The buyer's order or purchase agreement, the listing or window sticker, and the financing terms if you have them. Photos from your phone are fine. Crooked, glare, thumb in the corner, all fine.
If you have not picked a car yet, that is fine too. Send me what you are looking at and your zip code and we will start there.
If you are trying to avoid riba
You have probably been told there are almost no halal car financing options in America. That is only half true. Explicitly Islamic providers are genuinely scarce, and most of them do not cover your state.
But the test is who finances, not how big the number is. When a manufacturer's own finance arm owns the car and resells it to you at a disclosed markup, that is a sale. When a third-party bank hands the dealer money and charges you extra for the use of it, that is the loan excess. Same car, same monthly payment, completely different thing.
That path exists in all fifty states and hardly any Muslim buyer knows to ask for it by name. Making sure it actually happens, in the room, before the contract prints, is the single most valuable thing I do.
Read the full explanation first, for free. If that page answers your question completely, you do not need to pay me anything.
What this is not
I never call your dealership. Not once, not about anything.
I am not your agent. I do not represent you to anybody. I never speak to a salesperson, a manager, or a finance officer on your behalf. Every word said to that dealership comes out of your mouth.
That is not fine print, it is the whole design. A paid middleman who negotiates for you is called a broker, and brokering cars is licensed activity in a lot of states. I am not putting either of us there. What I am is the guy in your ear who has sat on the other side of that desk and knows what they are about to do next.
This is not legal advice, it is not tax advice, and it is not a fatwa. On the financing question I will tell you how your contract is structured and what the scholarship says. Take it to your imam if you want certainty before you sign.
You pay me, so nobody else does
Carummah has never run ads, never used affiliate links, and never sold a lead. That does not change. I take no money from any dealership, lender, or manufacturer, ever. The only person who pays me here is you, which is the only way I can tell you the truth about a deal.
One thing you should know
I sell Hondas at Capital Honda in Okemos, Michigan. So here is my rule: I will not take a Deal Check on a car you are buying from Capital Honda. That is my own store and there is no honest way for me to sit on both sides of that desk. Anywhere else, and any other brand, I have no stake in what you buy or what you pay for it.
The guarantee
If I do not find you at least what you paid me, tell me and I will refund it.No argument, no form.
Send it to me first
You are about to spend more money in one afternoon than you will on almost anything else this decade. An hour of my time is not the expensive part of that day.
Written answer back within 24 hours.
