Important: Our Dealer Affiliation
Please read this before filling in any form on this site. Anas Aldasouqi is a working car salesperson employed at Capital Honda in Okemos, Michigan. When you submit the Find My Car form, your details go to him personally, and he may follow up with you about buying a car, including a car sold at his own dealership. He earns his living selling cars. That is a real conflict of interest, and we would rather state it plainly than bury it. Treat what you read here as informed guidance from someone who works the sales desk, not as neutral advice from a disinterested party.
Information We Collect
Find My Car form: your name, email, optional phone number, optional ZIP code, budget range, body type, intended use, powertrain preference, and purchase timeframe. Website offer form (on the For Sale page): your name, email, phone, offer amount, and message. Newsletter or account signup: your name and email. Automatically: standard analytics and cookie data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. We do not collect or store your card number; apparel and accessory payments are handled on a hosted checkout page run by our platform provider.
How We Use It
To answer you and follow up about your car search by email, phone, or text where you have consented; to generate your vehicle matches; to send the newsletter if you opted in; and to operate and improve the site. Find My Car submissions are stored as sales lead records and tracked through a pending, contacted, and converted status pipeline in an internal admin dashboard. In plain terms: the Find My Car form is a lead-capture form, and it produces sales leads for Anas.
Who Receives Your Information
Anas Aldasouqi receives every form submission, by email and in the internal dashboard. Offers submitted on the For Sale page are emailed to his work address at Capital Honda. We also use service providers who process data on our behalf: our app hosting and database platform, Google Analytics, our transactional email providers, and an AI model provider used to generate vehicle matches and to search the web for nearby dealerships. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send it to lead brokers or to third-party dealer lead networks.
How Dealer Matching Works
If you give a ZIP code and indicate you are shopping rather than just researching, an automated step runs a few hours later that looks up real dealerships near you which stock your matched models, and emails that list to you. That step sends dealership information to you; it does not transmit your name, email, or phone number to those dealerships. The one person who does receive your contact details, and who may then contact you as a salesperson, is Anas, at Capital Honda. We also keep a list of dealerships we consider partners, which that lookup can prioritize.
Calls, Texts, and Email
We contact you only through the channels you agreed to when you submitted a form. Consent to calls or texts is never a condition of buying anything. You can withdraw consent at any time: reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email anas.s.aldasouqi@gmail.com. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies.
Cookies and Analytics
We use essential cookies and Google Analytics to understand site traffic. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and use your browser or device controls to limit tracking.
Your Choices and Deleting Your Data
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email anas.s.aldasouqi@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, or use the contact form, and say what you want done. We aim to action deletion requests within 30 days, and we will confirm when it is done. Deleting your lead record also removes it from the internal dashboard.
How Long We Keep It
Lead records are kept while your car search is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Analytics data follows the retention period set in Google Analytics.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has submitted information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and change the effective date above. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
